Officers dressed in chemical suits stormed the No109 in London Road, Thornton Heath, shortly before midnight. A Taser was fired before the arrest, which saw police strip the 44-year-old suspect in the street then remove him strapped to a wheeled stretcher. He was taken to hospital for checks.
