WHEN WE THOUGHT we were done with our quota of smoggy days for the year, pollution is back with a vengeance in the NCR. Thankfully, this also solves my problem of how to review the air purifiers sent to me this year. I thought the Qubo Q600 looked like the Xiaomi range of air purifiers and even had the same filtering mechanism inside. This means they are easy to set up for anyone—all you have to do is remove the filter, remove its polyethylene cover, and put it back in. Then you can set up the device using the Qubo app so that you get to control the air purifier remotely as well as gather some insights about the air quality in your room.

They adapted to function in natural light, their view constantly varying as our ancestors moved, gathering food and hunting, their blink rates perfectly adjusted to protect and nourish the eye. Today, the eyes are under unprecedented assault, their evolution utterly outpaced by technological change.
