Musk’s Starlink obtains NOC to start services in Pakistan

Elon Musk’s Starlink has obtained a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) to launch services in Pakistan, local broadcaster ARY News reported, citing sources.

In a significant development, Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja confirmed that satellite-based internet provider Starlink was granted temporary registration in Pakistan following the directives of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. *Starlink’s arrival in Pakistan will mark the formal launch of satellite internet services,” she added.
After procedural issues, the satellite-based internet provider, in all likelihood, will be able to launch services in one year.
