Happy 2025, everyone! Wishing everyone great food and excellent health. Basavanagudi, as an area, is blessed with some fantastic thindi places. There is no shortage of iconic eateries. All the focus is garnered by idli, vade, dose, kesari and kharabaths. But this year, I'd like to start by reminiscing about an iconic place that is known for none of these items. Many people have grown fond of this place since their childhood. I am, of course, referring to Puliyogare point. It was located in a somewhat ramshackle building earlier, where the entrance led to a short flight of stairs with limited space at the lower level.
