BHUBANESWAR: The second-year student's body was discovered by his father in his hostel room at 9.30am after repeated calls and messages to him went unanswered.He was immediately taken to the emergency room of the hospital where he was declared dead, police said.According to them, the student had returned from his hometown Dibrugarh, Assam, on Tuesday after a 10-day stay and was supposed to visit Puri on Wednesday morning with his father, who was staying in a guest house nearby before their trip began.However, before taking the extreme step, the medical student sent an audio message to his younger brother, requesting their father to not sell their land. He also asked his brother to become a doctor but stay in Assam. In the note found in his room, the student said nobody was responsible for his death, according to police.Prima facie, it seems that the student's family has been going through some financial crisis and he was disturbed over it, police added. The student's second-year examination was supposed to start on Thursday as well, police said. The police have filed a case of unnatural death and started an investigation into the student's death.
