GREATER NOIDA: A 23-year-old woman was murdered allegedly by her father and brother at their home in Chipyana village in Greater Noida, reportedly for marrying against their wishes, senior police said on Thursday.
Officers said the suspects also hurriedly cremated her body — purportedly in a bid to hide evidence — but were caught after neighbours complained to police.
Investigators identified the deceased as Neha Rathore, and said she married her boyfriend Suraj Singh on March 11. A day later, they said, her father Bhanu and her brother Himanshu murdered her.
