LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday highlighted Uttar Pradesh's remarkable transformation from a state plagued by insecurity and anarchy to one leading the nation in development.
"Once ranked sixth or seventh in the economy and lagging in various fields, Uttar Pradesh is now among the frontrunners," he said while flagging off the state team for the 28th Yuva Utsav-2025, to be held from January 10 to 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Reflecting on the state's progress over the last 7-8 years, the chief minister urged youth to share this success story with future generations as a benchmark for progress.
"Effective communication is vital for any politician. Without mastering this skill, one cannot excel in leadership," he added.
He advocated replacing traditional student unions with youth parliaments in universities and colleges to nurture leadership and compassion.
He stressed the need for individuals across all fields-politics, administration, law enforcement, agriculture, or entrepreneurship-to embody nationalism and compassion to achieve meaningful progress.
