PM to launch ₹7,000-cr projects in Prayagraj today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Prayagraj on Friday to review preparations for the Mahakumbh Mela-2025, inaugurating and launching a series of development projects worth around Rs 7,000 crore.

PM to launch ₹7,000-cr projects in Prayagraj today

AHAKUMBH NAGAR (PRAYAGRAJ):

As part of his itinerary, PM Modi will offer prayers at the sacred Sangam Nose and visit revered iconic sites like Akshayavat and the Bade Hanuman Temple, where temple corridors have been constructed ahead of Mahakumbh.

In addition, the prime minister will launch the 'Sahayak' chatbot, designed to assist visitors during the Mahakumbh-2025. The chatbot, alongside other projects, is expected to make the event more organised and accessible while strengthening Prayagraj's identity as a cultural and spiritual hub.

The prime minister will arrive at Bamrauli airport at 11.30 am. After being welcomed there, he will reach Arail banks by helicopter and then move to Sangam via Nishadraj Cruise boat.

He will offer prayers at the Sangam site around 12.15 pm. At around 12.40pm, he will perform rituals at the Akshayavat tree. The prime minister will then visit the Hanuman Temple and Saraswati Koop to offer prayers.

Around 1.30 pm, he will tour the Mahakumbh exhibition site. At 2pm, he will inaugurate various projects related to Mahakumbh-2025, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and connectivity in Prayagraj. The projects include 10 new road overbridges (ROBs) or flyovers, permanent ghats, riverfront roads, and several rail and road initiatives.
