While flagging off 157 toppers of high school examination 2024 on Bharat Darshan educational tour from Dehradun, Dhami said, "The first group is going on a tour of historical places of Himachal, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Delhi today.
This tour will add a new chapter to the education system of Uttarakhand."
He further said that the students "should present themselves as brand ambassadors of Uttarakhand" and hence, "should provide information about the holy rivers, temples, tourist places of Uttarakhand to people in other states".
"After the closure of the portals of Char Dham shrines for the winter months, now one can have darshan of these dhams at their winter abodes. For this, the state government has started the winter yatra. The students can give information to people in other states that they can offer prayers at the winter abodes of Char Dhams," he said.
