Razia Bibi Mosque 'arbitrarily' listed as Waqf property, claim advocates

VARANASI: The former general secretary of Banaras Bar Association, Nityanand Rai, and another advocate Milind Srivastava have claimed that the Razia Bibi Mosque in the city was arbitrarily listed as Waqf property and facts were ignored during its listing.

The advocates said they had written to chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the principal secretary of minority welfare and Waqf, and the Archaeological Survey of India, demanding a probe into the issue.
