MEERUT: The district administration of Sambhal continued its anti-encroachment and power theft operations in the Deepa Sarai area on Monday, marking the third consecutive day of action. The drive, aimed at tackling illegal construction and electricity theft, has intensified over the past few days.
District magistrate Rajendra Pensiya confirmed that six teams, each equipped with a bulldozer, were deployed for the operation. Residents have been urged to voluntarily remove encroachments, with a stern warning that bulldozers would be used if they failed to comply.
