LUCKNOW: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a chilly start to the New Year in Lucknow. According to Tuesday's meteorological report, the state capital is set to experience overcast skies on Wednesday, with temperatures expected to range between 16 and 10 degrees Celsius, marking a cold welcome to 2025.

On Tuesday, the difference between day and night temperatures was just 2.1 degrees Celsius, with the maximum recorded at 14.1 degrees—seven degrees below normal—and the minimum at 12 degrees—4.6 degrees over normal.
