5 Arrested After Tushar Gandhi Waylaid Over His Remarks on RSS

Kerala police arrested five people, including a BJP councillor, a day after the vehicle of Tushar Gandhi, the great grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, was waylaid and slogans were raised against him following his remarks critical of the RSS at a function in Neyyattinkara on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram.

The arrested men have been identified as Jayakrishnan, Sooraj Kumar, Harikumar, Anoop, N Mahesan Nair. Nair is a BJP councillor in the Neyyattinkara municipality, a senior police officer at the Neyyattinkara police station said. They were arrested and later released on bail.
