CES Spotlights AI in Cars to Robots and Beyond
Hindustan Times Noida|January 08, 2025

Vishal Mathur

The annual Consumer Electronics Show, or CES organized in Las Vegas (this runs through till Jan 11), is often the convenient show floor. This year, themes focused heavily on artificial intelligence (AI) layering, which will significantly define future motoring technology, the evolution of computing devices and has chipmakers betting on the next generation silicon to deliver results.

No longer a crossroads, a potentially beneficial intersection of AI and motoring has never been clearer. Nvidia rarely does anything that isn't grand. The company has unlocked a first look at Cosmos, which it says is "the world's first world foundation model." It basically defines AI models that try to imbibe how humans make mental models of the world around them, to similarly predict and generate "physics-aware" videos.
