The accident, which occurred Tuesday night, left the victim, Paubiak Thanga, severely injured. He succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
Thanga, originally from Hrianghmun in Mizoram, worked at a pet salon near his rented accommodation in Noida's Sector 70. He was travelling along with his friend and bike rider, Paulungmuana, also 23, who sustained minor injuries in the crash, police said.
The two were heading to a relative's home in Uttam Nagar, Delhi, when the incident occurred at 8.30pm, according to the police.
