PATNA:
Cold conditions, accompanied by dense fog, continued at most places in the state with Chapra in Saran district recording a minimum temperature of 7.7 degree Celsius on Monday, an increase in the day's minimum temperature by 1 degree over the last 24 hours.
The state's maximum temperature rose by 0.8 degree to 27.3 degree Celsius at Gopalganj on Monday.
Dense to very dense fog was also expected at a few places over northern, south-central and south-western parts of the state on Tuesday and Wednesday.
