"In 32 cases since 2012, the Bihar Police has confiscated property worth ₹6.75 crore, while proposal for confiscation of property worth Rs 8.97 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) has been sent," said ADG (Operation) Amrit Raj. Out of the proposal sent, property worth ₹4.93 crore has already been confiscated of Naxal leaders -- Sandip Yadav, Pradyuman Sharma, Musafir Sahni, Arvind Yadav, Ram Babu Rajan, Pintoo Rana, Binay Yadav, Anil Ram, Dilip Sahni and Abhijeet Yadav, he said, adding that so far 11 Forward Operation Bases (FOBs) have been in the Maoist stronghold, while seven more are to be developed.
"Besides 11 new security camps will come up on the Jharkhand Border to prevent Maoists' entry," he said, affirming that by 2025 end Bihar would be completely Maoist free.
The ADG said that in the last five years, there has been 72% decline in left wing extremism in the state and north Bihar has been completely free of any Maoist activity.
