The court removed the conditions of the bail and the former poll strategist submitted a bond before the Beur police station at around 6.30pm, officials familiar with the matter said.
Kishor was picked up from the Gandhi Maidan early in the morning, in pursuance of an FIR lodged against him last week for holding fast unto death at Gandhi Maidan, in violation of a Patna high court order that forbids any such demonstration at a place other than Gardani Bagh locality in the city.
Officials said Kishor ignored the notice directing him to shift to Gardani Bagh. "Despite repeated requests, Kishor refused to shift his agitation, following which he was arrested," Patna district magistrate Chandrasekhar Singh.
