The student, from Bihar, had arrived in Kota in April this year and was staying in a hostel in Vigyan Nagar area, officials said.
"On Friday... when he did not respond to the several knocks of his friends, the hostel staff broke open the door and recovered the body," Kota Fifth Circle deputy superintendent of police Lokendra Palliwal said.
