Militants launched attacks in several parts of Manipur on Sunday, injuring one Indian Army jawan as a fresh wave of violence beleaguered the northeastern state for a third straight day.

Manipur Police said suspected Kuki militants fired explosives at farmers harvesting paddy at Sanabasi Loukol in Imphal East district around 10am, a day after a similar attack in Bishnupur killed a 34-year-old woman.
