The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday filed its first charge sheet in connection with the investigation into the Mahadev betting app case, officials said, adding that the federal agency has raised a request for the issuance of a 'red notice' against the two app promoters - Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal.
According to officials, 14 accused 13 people and one firm have been named in the charge sheet -- including Chandrakar and Uppal.
ED made its request to the Interpol for 'red notice' on the basis of the open-ended, nonbailable warrants issued against the two (who are on the run) by the Raipur court in September, for not complying with its order to present themselves for questioning, officials said.
"The requests have been routed through the Central Bureau of Investigation, which is Interpol's nodal agency in India," officials said on condition of anonymity.
