CONG LEADER RAHUL GANDHI URGED PM MODI TO VISIT MANIPUR TO WORK ON RESTORING PEACE

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) amid fresh violence in Manipur alleging that the ruling party wants the northeastern "state to burn" as it "serves its hateful politics".

The people of state will never forgive or forget that Prime Minister Narendra Modi left them to fend for themselves and never set foot in their state to heal their miseries, Kharge said.
