Low-cost carrier SpiceJet has set in motion a plan to revive 25 grounded aircraft in its fleet and has earmarked nearly ₹400 crore to get them back into operations, the airline company announced on Wednesday.
The announcement came a day after the cash-strapped Go First voluntarily filed for insolvency and cancelled flights from May 3 to 5. "We are meticulously working towards return to service of our grounded fleet back in the air soon," Ajay Singh, chairman and managing director of SpiceJet, said.
