<p>The company began its streamlining operations in March of this year. They said at the time they intended to let go of 2.5% of its workforce.</p>
<p>An Accenture spokesperson said: &ldquo;We will be commencing a collective employee consultation for a proposed redundancy programme that is expected to affect around 890 people in Ireland.</p>
<p>&ldquo;We do not plan to comment further while the consultation process is ongoing.&rdquo;</p>
