BRITPOP trailblazers Blur have revealed they were nearly axed by their record company early on before getting a new lease of Parklife.
The band released second album Modern Life Is Rubbish in 1993 and, in a four-part documentary celebrating Britpop's 30th anniversary, they admit they were on their "last chance" with bosses after the record bombed.
