IT'S only six days since Mick Bohan's Dublin landed the All-Ireland title.

Bohan: I am a coach.. the rest of my team fill in voids I don't have skills for

And all he can think about now are the people that made it possible.

Like, he says, the manager Claire Butterly, who organised everything. He was just the coach.

Although now a five-time All-Ireland winning Dublin ladies coach.

And over the coming weeks he's looking forward to digesting that with his leadership group and coaching team.

Bohan was left out of the Valentine's day run this year. He laughs, noting that he is not a man for chocolates.

And it wasn't all because the Dublin ladies love 'Milk Tray! "My kit man Willie O'Connor, I would have coached under-14, under 16," says Bohan, who was part of Jim Gavin's coaching team for the 2013 All-Ireland triumph.

"But the goodness in him, the small things, whether it's delivering boxes of chocolates for Valentine's day.

"There are certain things that don't do it for me - the box of chocolates that's the point.

"There are the people who need the pick me ups, who need the hand on the shoulder.

"I am not one of those people so I am trying to get people to fill the voids and see what has to be done."
