He has been named locally as Sean "Seanie" Reilly of Cloonaugh, Drumlish, Co Longford.
Mr Reilly, was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle crash at Esker South, Ballinalee, Co Longford, at 1.30pm on Saturday.
The auto electrician, originally from Longford town, was a motorbike enthusiast and known for his involvement in charity events.&nbsp;Drumlish Foroige said local people had been left stunned at the tragedy.
The group posted on Facebook: "Sending our deepest sympathies to our leader Sinead on the heartbreaking loss of her husband Seanie.
"Seanie was a gentle giant, always smiling. He was truly one of the best ones. He will be deeply missed." Mr Reilly was also a&nbsp;member of Devil's Disciples Motorcycle Club who posted a tribute.
They said: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, family, and all his brothers. R.I.P.
