Bealham buzzing after creating Viking impression with Ireland

GAME day is Finlay Bealham's Valhalla - and he's been in heaven in this Six Nations championship.

The Connacht and Ireland prop is turning heads with his displays at tighthead in place of the rehabbing Tadhg Furlong, but he can't be missed anyway with that distinctive braided hairstyle of his.

The inspiration comes from The Vikings, a six season Irish Canadian TV show that was filmed in Ireland between 2013 and 2020.

"Yeah, I'm a big fan of Vikings and stuff like that, same as Ports (Andrew Porter, inset)," smiled Bealham. "Ports has a bit of a mohawk going on, I have the braids in - like Ivar the Boneless or Ragnar Lothbrok, that's where I took it from.
