The Melbourne outfit confirmed McBride was one of three players who they will not be offering contracts to for 2024.
This brings the number of Irish players in the AFL down to 10, from the pre-Covid high of 18.
McBride spent four years in Australia after joining the Bombers in 2019 as an international rookie.
