A STUNNING display from Ireland's Under 17 side last night has got everyone excited about both the immediate future and the long-term prospects of a group of sublimely talented youngsters.
Following a deserved 4-2 victory over their Hungarian hosts, Ireland advanced to the quarter-finals of the European Championships - where they will meet either Spain, Serbia or Slovenia this Saturday.
That's enough to focus on for now, yet you can't help but wonder where this journey will eventually end for half a dozen of this team.
