Damian Conlon, from Co Sligo, died from a gunshot wound in his home in New South Wales yesterday morning.

A 57-year-old man was charged with murder and will face court today.

A Sligo local told the Irish Mirror: "It's a complete shock to his family, everyone is rallying around them."
