Jim hopes Sophie's family will take part in docu film on her murder

DIRECTOR Jim Sheridan has met with Sophie Toscan du Plantier's family and is hopeful they will participate in his new movie on her murder.

Filming is due to start in West Cork later this year on the 90-minute documentary style production which he is confident will be screened around the world.

The family were due to appear in his hit Sky TV series on the case, Murder at the Cottage, but pulled out at the eleventh hour in a row over the former main suspect, Ian Bailey.
