A MAN suspected of murdering a Dublin woman in a Spanish hotel has claimed he had nothing to do with her death.

The man was arrested by Spanish police after mother-of-one Kirsty Ward was found dead at the Hotel Magnolia in the Costa Dorada resort on July 2.

Police and other emergency responders discovered the 36-yearold in a second-floor corridor after a 999 call from the hotel. She had been strangled.

The man appeared before a Spanish court last week and has been remanded in prison while investigations continue.

Now, in a video recorded from a prison cell on a mobile phone, he denies being involved in Ms Ward's death.
