A MAN appeared at a special court sitting yesterday charged with the murder of his wife.
Deepa Paruthiyezhuth Dinamani, 38, was found dead at Cardinal Court in Wilton, Co Cork, on Friday.
Det Garda Alan Johnson gave evidence at Cork District Court of arrest, charge and caution of Regin Parithapara Rajan.
He said the 41-year-old made no reply when the charge was put to him under caution at 2.45am yesterday at Togher Garda station in the city.
