Why can no one face trial after bikers died on M50?

THE families of two bikers killed in a crash on the M50 last year have asked the DPP to explain why there will be no criminal prosecution over the accident.

Paul Ingram, 59, and 63-year-old Brian McFarlane died instantly in the collision on the northbound section of M50 between the Red Cow and Liffey Valley junctions on June 3, 2022.

A sitting of Dublin District Coroner's Court yesterday heard the relatives of the two British friends have sought an explanation from the DPP, Catherine Pierse, for her decision not to prosecute anyone.
