There was a cost of living package introduced as part of Budget 2023, which included social welfare bonuses, double payments and the &euro;600&nbsp;energy credit.
Some of the measures are set to expire this month, but Minister McGrath has confirmed they will extend some, the Independent has reported.
Measures include the reduced VAT rate for gas and electricity as well as the reduction on excise duty on petrol and home-heating oil.
Speaking on Friday, Minister McGrath said: "I and the Government acknowledge that the cost of living remains very high still for many people around the country.
"It's clear that some of these supports will need to be extended beyond that date." However, he warned&nbsp;that they would not go on forever.
He added: "I must also be clear, however, we cannot afford to continue with that level of support indefinitely.
