RTE star Francis Brennan believes good times are ahead for the Irish hotel industry following the challenges of the pandemic and inflation prices.
The hotelier is set to hit our screens tomorrow night with the new series of At Your Service.
He said things have been tough with foreign workers returning home, Covid cases playing havoc with staffing levels, and inflation causing prices to rise.
However, he believes things will level out over the next six months.
The 69-year-old, who opened the five-star Park Hotel in Kenmare, Co Kerry, last year with his brother John, told the Sunday Mirror: "I think the hotel business in Ireland has a great future. It is very attractive to people, especially at the top end of the market who wouldn't be price-conscious to that extent.
"The middle market pricing in Ireland will be a challenge but we will see.
