ACTRESS Roisin Gallagher reckons her new rom-com series The Lovers will give viewers a crash course in "Belfast humour".
Best known for her roles in RTE hits The Fall and The Dry, the mum-of-one will return to our TV screens in the Sky drama next month.
Belfast-born Roisin, 36, played recovering alcoholic Shiv Sheridan in The Dry and her character Janet in The Lovers is every bit as complex and lovable.
She revealed: "I hope [audiences] will laugh. If they aren't already familiar with Belfast humour, I hope they'll hear it and enjoy it because it's really brilliant.
"I hope people will be surprised and not know what's going to happen next and really want to watch the next episode."
