Beauty spot murder probe work goes on

MUCH of a north Manchester beauty spot will remain out of bounds to the public this bank holiday weekend as the investigation into the death of Stuart Everett continues. Police have been searching Boggart Hole Clough since May 16 as part of the probe.

The 67-year-old is believed to have died at a house in Winton, Salford, at the end of March. Parts of his body were found at Kersal Dale, Salford, on April 4.

So far despite the deployment of huge resources, including specialist police teams, an underwater search unit, and cadaver dogs, no remains have been found at Boggart Hole Clough.

Now, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed it will remain in the area over the bank holiday and into next week, as officers' efforts continue.
