A passer-by captured the scenes outside the Esso service station on Bury Old Road in Prestwich, Bury, on Friday.
The driver is shown scanning then flinging - boxes and packages into the back of the white van parked on the forecourt. The witness - who sent the footage to the Manchester Evening News works nearby and had popped out to get a sandwich for lunch from the Spar store at the garage.
He said the driver, wearing a highviz vest, had only just collected the packages from the service station inside to go out for delivery. He scans the first package from a metal crate - which appears to be a plastic bag then throws it over his shoulder into the van without even looking. One cardboard box is picked up and thrown on top of others into the van.
The man then goes on to twice drop an Asos bag before that too is flung into the van. The van was unmarked so it's not known which delivery company the driver was working for.
The witness, who has asked not to be named, said: "I work near the Esso petrol station on Bury Old Road and nipped down to grab some lunch.
"When I came back out I noticed a delivery driver had collected parcels from the garage to send out and was throwing them into the back of his van.
"They could be important gifts or even birthday or Christmas gifts - no wonder some people receive their parcels in a broken state."
