Donna Duffy said: "To hear my boy's voice was the best feeling in the world."
Her son Dillon, 18, went missing on June 18, sparking huge search efforts in London after he caught a train from Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke, then onto Euston in the capital - 200 miles from home.
It also led to an outpouring of support for the family from Chadderton, with Facebook groups set up and appeals shared on social media after Dillon left behind a note.
Yesterday, Dillon's mum Donna confirmed to the M.E.N. that he was safe and with his dad in a hotel in London.
