A WOMAN was seen doing YOGA in the middle of the A555 near Manchester Airport, which is still shut due to severe flooding on New Year's Day.
The typically busy Manchester Airport relief road remained under water yesterday morning, with vehicles still trapped and submerged under flood waters.
The road was completely closed off on New Year's Day after it became flooded following a night of heavy rainfall. Images from the scene showed cars completely submerged on the airport relief road between Hazel Grove and the airport, near Cheadle
Pictures taken by a walker shortly after midday yesterday, with the road still closed off, showed a woman doing yoga in the middle of the carriageway.
