Zachary McAskill was working at Stagecoach’s Hyde Road depot in Ardwick when an incident began to unfold outside on November 11 last year.
Five men are said to have started attacking another man, with one seen to be carrying a knife. Zachary stepped in and was able to calm the situation down.
