A FAST-FOOD restaurant manager who suffered an embarrassing moment walking to a Manchester City match has revealed how he managed to shed three stone.
Tom Withington weighed in at almost 24 stone when he found himself 'panting heavily' and 'dripping in sweat' during a short walk to the Etihad Stadium.
The 23-year-old was so embarrassed by the ordeal he refused to go to the pub before the game - later deciding to embark on a weight loss journey.
Tom signed up to a Slimming World club in Haughton Green, Tameside, and the weight quickly began dropping off.
Tipping the scales at 23st 11.5lbs when he joined in March, the McDonald's shift manager has so far lost 3st 1.5lbs.
He's now hoping to achieve his ultimate dream of becoming an Emirates cabin crew member something his weight was holding him back from previously.
