However, two other tournaments are important to City and both of them relate to Julian Alvarez. While most of the squad will be in Germany, Alvarez is one of a few who will be in the United States for the Copa America.
That may well be a short hop from where Pep Guardiola will be taking his squad in July for the pre-season tour and Argentina will be playing between June 20 and July 14.

Then, while everyone else involved on international duty is taking a breather, Alvarez is set to hotfoot it to Paris for the Olympic Games.
