Disappearance of dad seen by river remains a mystery
Manchester Evening News|December 02, 2024
POLICE still have no leads on the disappearance of a dad last seen sitting on a wall beside the River Roch a week ago, his wife has said.
JAMES HOLT

Nathaniel Favour Enemona, 27, left his phone at home when he told his wife Eunice he was going to the shops last Sunday morning (November 24). He left their home in Heywood at around 8.30am.

A short time later a dog walker saw Nathaniel in a 'sleepy state' and sitting on the wall beside the river, fast-flowing and 'dangerous' due to the impact of Storm Bert.

When she returned, Nathaniel had vanished, however his sliders had been left behind.

The walker recognised Nathaniel, who regularly visited the beauty spot near to the Heywood Waterfall and rang the police.
