CITY suffered a painful defeat to Aston Villa last week - but one young supporter enjoyed the best night of his life.
Harry Hayes was in the crowd for his first Premier League away game as an early present after knowing exactly what he wanted for his eighth birthday.
And despite the disappointment of the result that night, the youngster got more than his family thought possible after sharing a moment with Erling Haaland.
"Since Haaland has come to City he has just turned Man City mad, which I'm sure every other kid has as well," said dad Mark. "His bedroom is full of him. He's got Haaland bedding and he's got a headband waiting for his hair to grow just as long as him.
"He's growing his hair.
"Everything he is doing is for Erling Haaland. asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said he wanted to go and watch City."
