
TRAIN operator Northern says it has reached an interim agreement with the union representing conductors over Sunday working across Greater Manchester and the North West.
The potential breakthrough deal comes as Northern bosses prepare to face regional political leaders again today at a meeting of the Rail North Committee.
Sundays are currently outside the working week for the majority of conductors in the North West. That's because of an agreement which was inherited by Northern Trains Limited when it was set up to run services in 2020.
