De Bruyne would perhaps represent the most significant departure to another club of the Guardiola era but the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Leroy Sane, Joao Cancelo and others have departed for a clutch of Europe's leading clubs. Ferran Torres was another.
The Spaniard was only at City for 18 months before returning to his homeland and Barcelona. Torres started only 19 league games for City and dropped down the pecking order at the start of his second season but he was still young and learning.
