A BEAUTICIAN on trial accused of the murder of her ex-husband who was found 'tortured to death' has denied any involvement in the killing.
Coleen Campbell, 38, claimed she had been 'manipulated' by the alleged 'mastermind' of the attack on her former spouse, Thomas Campbell.
Mr Campbell, 38, was ambushed by three men at his front door before being tortured for two hours inside his home in Mossley, Tameside, a trial has heard.
His former wife of 10 years is accused of being involved in a conspiracy to rob Mr Campbell, and of passing information about his whereabouts to the attackers.
She accepted telling John Belfield, the alleged 'mastermind, about her ex's whereabouts but said she'd only done this to help him discover if his ex-girlfriend was in a relationship with Mr Campbell. Ms Campbell denied being involved in any plot to rob her former husband or that she wanted him dead.
